Daniel Joseph

President


Daniel Joseph is President of Corridor Ventures and co-founder, along with Hagan Brown, of Corridor’s Property and Asset Management divisions. Dan has primary responsibility for the direction, strategy, and financing of the company’s overall activities. He leads Corridor’s efforts to raise investor and joint venture funding, managing its growing roster of over 200 accredited investors and relationships with institutional and joint venture partners across the United States. He also maintains an active role in assessing the market, property, and management of the transaction during its due diligence, and works closely with Hagan Brown on all client relationships to ensure that objectives are being met and client satisfaction is optimally achieved.

Dan has a diverse background as a real estate entrepreneur and investor, having started four companies in the past 20 years, as well as investing in many transactions, both in real estate and across the private equity landscape. He began his career in structured real estate and middle market finance at Bankers Trust Company and worked in Brand Management for Procter and Gamble following his graduation from business school. Over the course of his career, he has developed particular expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing acquisitions, and in raising capital. He has been involved in the acquisition and management of over 30 companies and properties, raising hundreds of millions in equity and debt. Dan’s track record demonstrates entrepreneurial growth and success at every stage of his career.

Dan holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Tufts University. He is a member of the Connecticut chapter of YPO, and sits on the board of The Cobb School Montessori in Simsbury, CT.

Hagan Brown

Hagan Brown is President of Corridor’s Property and Asset Management divisions and co-founder, along with Daniel Joseph, of Corridor Ventures. Hagan works closely with all of Corridor’s clients to ensure that results are consistent with client expectations. Hagan personally manages the due diligence, asset planning, and execution efforts on all of Corridor’s acquisitions and client engagements. His large network of broker and vendor relationships across the United States provides Corridor with deep local market knowledge and consistent transaction flow. He is constantly expanding this network on behalf of the company and its clients.

Hagan has a diverse real estate background. With over fifteen years of experience in construction, leasing and management, Hagan has helped build Corridor Ventures into a successful real estate acquisition and management company. Hagan began his career at Sapient Corporation, a technology-consulting firm headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he quickly advanced to Director of Real Estate Expansion and International Operations. As a corporate director, Hagan opened over 30 offices in the United States, Europe, India and Canada, negotiating over $100 million in lease contracts and successfully managing over $50 million in construction projects.

A Syracuse University graduate and a West Hartford native, Hagan is actively involved in the community. He currently sits on the board of the local public television station and volunteers both his time and expertise to various non-profit organizations.

Rebecca Jarvis is the Director of Finance for Corridor’s Property and Asset Management divisions. Becky is responsible for the financial reporting for all of the entities under Corridor’s umbrella as well as the corporate entities. She is also responsible for managing the cash flow of each entity, overseeing the accounting department, and working with the regional managers and site staff. Becky works closely with our banking representatives and mortgage servicers, ensuring that all of the entities are in compliance with the required guidelines of each loan.

Becky started in property management accounting in 1993 with a company that specialized in low income housing with HUD and CHFA regulations. She came to Corridor at the beginning of the student housing management phase in 2007.

Becky graduated from Briarwood College with an Associates Degree in Accounting.

Kayla Cubellotti, in her role as Director of Property Management, works closely with the director’s team overseeing operations for the student living and conventional housing communities. Her focus is process improvement, training, customer service and operations. Kayla enthusiastically leads the continual development of the Corridor Property Management training program and helps facilitate new management acquisitions.

Kayla began with Corridor Property Management in 2008. Through the course of her career with Corridor Property Management, Kayla has helped to develop and implement operating best practices and standards for the various communities managed under CPM.

Kayla has a BA from Iowa State University in Finance and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Director of Information Technology & Human Resources


Nancy A. Salisbury, Director of Information Technology & Human Resources has been with Corridor since 2007. Nancy is a member of the directors’ team and works to continually contribute to the growth of the company.

With over 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field, Nancy developed Corridor’s Human Resources Department from the ground up. After firmly establishing the HR Department, she began providing and coordinating the support required for the Information Technology Department at the corporate office, as well as Corridor’s managed properties. Beginning in 2013 Nancy took on the responsibilities of investor relations. Nancy’s excellent ability to adapt and learn new skills has assisted Corridor to construct a firm foundation for the company to build on.

Nancy graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with an Associates Degree in Accounting.

Matthew Vermillion

Matthew Vermillion, Director of Operations, has been with Corridor since 2008. He works collaboratively with the other members of the directors’ team to oversee site operations, facilities and insurance related responsibilities.

Matt is a 16-year veteran of apartment and construction management. Accurate budgets, strong personnel leadership and creative, systematic solutions have helped Matt to build a network of trust and a legacy of reliability in various multifamily markets. Starting in Ames, Iowa with management of fewer than 50 apartments in 1997, he is now involved with over 1739 units and responsible for $21 million of annual revenue. Matt implements a hands-on approach to manage and understand the properties, by helping staff write a functional and profitable business plan and then monitoring weekly performance through key metrics dash boarding.
